What the contract can do
In April 2022 anyone could pledge HEX to the contract and receive 1 MAXI per HEX. On 2 May 2022 (HEX day 881) the contract staked the pooled 294,323,603.77 HEX for 5,555 days, so the stake runs until July 2037 (HEX day 6,436). New MAXI can only be minted through pledgeHEX, which closed with the minting phase.
HEX can be redeemed by burning MAXI only before the stake starts or after it ends (redeemHEX); anyone may end the stake once it is due. The same contract and the same stake exist on PulseChain since the fork — the bytecode is identical on both chains. Supply on PulseChain: 274,546,064.81 MAXI (some MAXI has been burned, for example when TEAM was minted).
Who controls it
Nobody. The contract has no owner and no admin functions; after the audit’s first finding the team removed the ownership library altogether. Staking, ending the stake and redeeming are open to anyone under rules fixed in the code. The deployer was 0x9BfF9A65964F4FC0bFA989DEc2999eC27d729cEF; the team is pseudonymous and no person is publicly sourced.
History
Deployed on Ethereum on 16 April 2022 (00:05:32 UTC, block 14,593,069); on PulseChain since the fork in May 2023. Audit: SourceHat, “MaximusStaking”, 5 April 2022 (updated 6 April): three informational findings, all resolved; the report reviewed a GitHub commit, not the deployed address.
Activity: maximusdao.com was last published on 22 February 2023, and no dated official post after 2023 was found. The Telegram group had 2,262 members on 2026-10-17. 5,270 holders on PulseChain on 2026-10-19.
Risks
Very thin liquidity. Counting only pools against WPLS and bridged stablecoins, MAXI had about $23 on PulseChain at block 27,837,276 (2026-10-19 12:30 UTC); including pools against HEX, PLSX and INC, about $11,700. Even a small sale can move the price sharply, and the HEX behind each MAXI can only be redeemed after the stake ends in 2037. Its value follows HEX on PulseChain.
On 2026-10-17 the Maximus web app’s source also contained two other addresses labelled MAXI — one with no contract on either chain, one a token named W with the same functions as MAXI (likely a test deployment; who controls it is not established). Use only the address above.
Verdict
Community-run, listed by editorial decision. Misses C4 — liquidity far below $25,000 — and C5 — no team activity evidenced since early 2023. Age, verified code, no admin and no documented rug pass.
Where to use it
Interfaces that call these contracts, checked on 2026-10-19 — official ones first. A listing is not an endorsement: open apps from a bookmark, check the domain before you connect a wallet and read the risk line. Domains to avoid and what to do when an app is down: Interfaces.

go.maximus.cash
go.maximus.cash
OfficialEthereuminformation only
MAXI dashboard and calculator. Minting MAXI is over; the mint buttons are disabled.
Risk: Ethereum only, and no buttons for MAXI’s own stake functions (start, end — due about July 2037 — or HDRN mint); those need an explorer.
-
maximus.cash
maximus.cash
OfficialEthereum
Shows the MAXI address and audit links, with an embedded Uniswap (Ethereum) for buying MAXI.
Risk: Ethereum only. The page source also contains two wrong “MAXI” addresses in unused forms.
-
PulseX app
app.pulsex.com
Official PulseX appPulseChain
Swaps, PLS ↔ WPLS wrapping, liquidity on PulseX v1, v2 and the eDAI/eUSDC/eUSDT stable pool, INC farms (deposit, withdraw, harvest, emergency withdraw) and the buy-and-burn page.
The same version also runs as an IPFS mirror and a self-host build.
Risk: Copycat PLSX and INC tokens exist — add tokens to your wallet by address only. The burn page’s conversion can be triggered only by whitelisted callers.
-
PulseScan — Read and Write contract
scan.pulsechain.com
Official PulseChain appPulseChain
Read contract, Write contract and Write proxy for every verified contract once you connect a wallet. It is the fallback when an app is down, and the only interface for some functions: the Maximus Mystery Box and escrow, MAXI’s own stake end, and the Hedron/Icosa liquidation auctions.
The same version also runs as an IPFS mirror and a self-host build.
Risk: Raw calls with no safety net: wrong units or a mistyped address cannot be undone. There is no Write tab for unverified contracts — eWBTC, “HEX from Ethereum”, the four Diamond Hands reward-distribution contracts and the ProveX escrow (verified on Sourcify only).

Maximus portfolio

Official Maximus DAO appEthereumread-only
Read-only portfolio tracker for the Maximus tokens on Ethereum.

Look Into Maxi
lookintomaxi.com
Third partyPulseChainEthereumread-only
Read-only analytics for the Maximus tokens.
Risk: Wrong addresses in its configuration: its INC and PLSX point to addresses with no contract, and its “pTRIO” is the bridged TRIO. Do not copy addresses from it.

Piteas
app.piteas.io
Third partyPulseChain
DEX aggregator: routes swaps through PulseX and other exchanges via its own router.
Risk: The executor contract is not verified; the router’s owner — a single key — can pause it and change the executor. The fee is built into the quote (about 0.12 % on average, per its docs). Router audited by SolidProof (2023).
Listing a token is not a recommendation to buy it. Read the trust criteria and the disclaimer.
