What the contract can do
In a one-time minting window in September 2022 anyone could mint 1 TEAM per MAXI sent to the contract. When minting closed, the contract burned 20 % of that MAXI, sent 30 % to an escrow that pays it back to TEAM stakers in years 3, 6 and 9, and sent 50 % to a contract called the Mystery Box, together with a newly minted copy of all TEAM. No more TEAM can be created after that.
Holders stake TEAM for one-year periods. Staked TEAM is burned and reminted when unstaked; ending a stake early costs 3.69 % of the amount, which is burned. Rewards come from the four Perpetual pools — half of the extra HEX they earn from HEX’s size bonus — and from the MAXI rebates. The TEAM contract itself deployed BASE, TRIO, LUCKY and DECI and a reward-distribution contract. The bytecode is identical on Ethereum and PulseChain.
Who controls it
No owner or admin functions — with one documented exception. The Mystery Box contract 0x5b63D03F3738C284746c82f9b9Ea728118Ea2c2A can send its MAXI and TEAM to a wallet address hard-coded in the code, 0x00C055Ee792B5bC9AeB06ced73bB71ce7E5773Ce, at most 1 million per transaction. Anyone may trigger this, but only by paying the same amount of MAXI to that wallet — so it costs nothing to the wallet’s own holder, who is not publicly identified. The project’s TEAM page says holders should not expect anything from the Mystery Box.
On 2026-10-17 the Mystery Box held 79,734,065.28 TEAM and 23,235,741.98 MAXI on PulseChain; the wallet held 374,777.42 TEAM and 1,935,232.97 MAXI and had sent 95 transactions on PulseChain.
History
Deployed on Ethereum on 5 September 2022 (06:43:34 UTC, block 15,476,328), in the same transaction as the four Perpetual pools; on PulseChain since the fork in May 2023. Audit: SourceHat, “MaximusTeam”, 31 August 2022 (updated 1 September), covering PerpetualPool, Team, StakeRewardDistribution, MAXIEscrow and MysteryBox at a commit in the team’s private repository: two high and one medium finding, all resolved.
On PulseChain on 2026-10-17: 119,888,596.47 TEAM outside stakes and 67,550,562.83 staked. The year-3 MAXI rebate has been paid; 9,385,132.60 and 14,077,698.89 MAXI remain scheduled for years 6 and 9. maximusdao.com was last published on 22 February 2023.
Risks
Concentration: about two thirds of the TEAM outside stakes on PulseChain sits in the Mystery Box, which one unidentified wallet can move to itself in steps of 1 million.
Very thin liquidity: about $30 in pools against WPLS at block 27,837,276 (2026-10-19 12:30 UTC); no pools against HEX, PLSX or INC were found. Rewards depend on the pools ending their stakes, which someone has to trigger and pay gas for.
Verdict
Community-run, listed by editorial decision. Misses C4 (liquidity far below $25,000) and C5 (no team activity evidenced since early 2023). C3 is met only as a documented power — the Mystery Box wallet — not as an absence of control.
Where to use it
Interfaces that call these contracts, checked on 2026-10-19 — official ones first. A listing is not an endorsement: open apps from a bookmark, check the domain before you connect a wallet and read the risk line. Domains to avoid and what to do when an app is down: Interfaces.

team.maximus.cash
team.maximus.cash
OfficialPulseChainEthereum
Stake TEAM; end, extend or restake stakes; claim rewards; run the contract’s claim preparation. Minting TEAM is over.
Risk: No licence; it loads an unpinned web3 library from a CDN. Its source also ships an unused form with a wrong “MAXI” address — copy addresses only from this site or the explorer.
-
PulseX app
app.pulsex.com
Official PulseX appPulseChain
Swaps, PLS ↔ WPLS wrapping, liquidity on PulseX v1, v2 and the eDAI/eUSDC/eUSDT stable pool, INC farms (deposit, withdraw, harvest, emergency withdraw) and the buy-and-burn page.
The same version also runs as an IPFS mirror and a self-host build.
Risk: Copycat PLSX and INC tokens exist — add tokens to your wallet by address only. The burn page’s conversion can be triggered only by whitelisted callers.
-
PulseScan — Read and Write contract
scan.pulsechain.com
Official PulseChain appPulseChain
Read contract, Write contract and Write proxy for every verified contract once you connect a wallet. It is the fallback when an app is down, and the only interface for some functions: the Maximus Mystery Box and escrow, MAXI’s own stake end, and the Hedron/Icosa liquidation auctions.
The same version also runs as an IPFS mirror and a self-host build.
Risk: Raw calls with no safety net: wrong units or a mistyped address cannot be undone. There is no Write tab for unverified contracts — eWBTC, “HEX from Ethereum”, the four Diamond Hands reward-distribution contracts and the ProveX escrow (verified on Sourcify only).

Look Into Maxi
lookintomaxi.com
Third partyPulseChainEthereumread-only
Read-only analytics for the Maximus tokens.
Risk: Wrong addresses in its configuration: its INC and PLSX point to addresses with no contract, and its “pTRIO” is the bridged TRIO. Do not copy addresses from it.

DEX aggregator: routes swaps through PulseX and other exchanges via its own router.
Risk: The executor contract is not verified; the router’s owner — a single key — can pause it and change the executor. The fee is built into the quote (about 0.12 % on average, per its docs). Router audited by SolidProof (2023).
Listing a token is not a recommendation to buy it. Read the trust criteria and the disclaimer.
